Women Against Fantasy Sports Website is a Hit.. Not the Fantasy Baseball Kind of Hit, Neither…
Believe me women, I’ve thought of starting a Women Against Fantasy Baseball type of website like you guys have started here for years.
“Fantasy Sports widows” are what some women against fantasy sports call themselves. I have a husband who LOVES fantasy football (and even started a fantasy football advice website that he’ll probably get back to updating soon since it’s that time of year again!)
The fantasy football drafts have been popping up penciled in on our kitchen calendar.
The time my hubby spent on Fantasy Football used to piss me off…
…so I asked the Lord for something holy and healthy to occupy my time — and he gave me the knowledge to set up websites.
And make money with websites to boot!
So now my husband is the one sometimes wanting me to come to bed while I’m off blogging and such.
But for the most part he is extremely happy that I’ve got something good to do while he’s picking his draft picks and acting as commish of his fantasy football leagues.
Women Against Fantasy Sports…
…is actually kinda cool, as long as it doesn’t turn into one long bitch session. A place where women who’ve been replaced by fantasy sports can gather is nice — as long as they don’t wallow in kvetching about their men’s hobbies.
Hope they’ve got some great ads over there at Women Against Fantasy Sports.
Hey WAFS webmasters, let me know if you post your webmaster income anywhere to add to our website of webmaster salaries.

My Website is the counter to WAFS. My goal is to get women more involved in it.
It is called Girls’ Guide to Fantasy Football (or GG2FF).
1) Agreed, 10 + fantasy leagues is overboard
2) Agreed, all obsessions/addictions are dangerous
3) Agreed, it is a good idea for people to have a place to share in their struggles (ie – I hate cilantro.com)
However, I don’t think fantasy sports is the problem, it is just the excuse for something else awry. I believe many women (and men) will extract a lot of enjoyment from playing the game and aim to help them do so.

Have you ever tried disqus for your commenting system? I been using it but it feels it slows down my website . I am asking this to you since your site has been around for a while and you might be better at this .
