I just watched the video of the “What Would Jesus Buy?” movie trailer online.

“Reverend Billy” Bill Talen doesn’t call himself a Christian, according to his Wikipedia page, but the “What Would Jesus Buy?” movie trailer smacks of preacher parody.

Anyway, it really does also speak to our materialism and such, with the scenes of the little girl with too many toys — plus the amazing testimony of the saleswoman who testified that a 60-year-old woman spit on her when the clerk told her they didn’t have any more XBox 360s for her granddaughter!

That’s just crazy…

But instead of the Church of Stop Shopping, let’s revive the Church of Feeding the Poor and Fatherless…

Looks like a watchable film…
