Watch ‘Living the Life’ Shows Online — It’s like a Christian Version of ‘The View’
“I want to create a show that’s like ‘The View’ for Christian women,” a minister friend once said to me.
“There’s kinda a show like that called Living the Life,” I told her.
Back then I wished I could tape episodes of Living the Life off my TiVo and hand it to her.
But thankfully today with the modern advances of wonderful, hard-working webmasters, she can view episodes of Living the Life online.
Robin Givens was interviewed recently on a two-part episode of Living the Life, talking about her struggles with her absent father — and divulging the painful choices his absence caused her to make later in life.
It was good to see her speaking honestly and crying with a maturity that has led her to examine her life.
May that self-realization continue…
Robin also talked about her book, Grace Will Lead Me Home, a tome tracking her path from the glitz and glamour of being married and divorced from Mike Tyson to becoming a mother — and finally on the truth that there is only One who could save her.
Living the Life is one of those shows set up with a permanent season pass on my TiVo, and though I skim past their many repeated segments (along with those corny Sybil segments — though I LOVE Louise DuArt with her amazingly talented self) some days, watching Living the Life is like coming home for me: safe, warm, perky and welcoming.
