»»»»»»»» The View Palin October 1, 2008 Video – Watch The View Sarah Palin Fight and Ask: Is Elizabeth Hasselbeck Leaving The View?
I guess The View’s October 1, 2008, show about Sarah Palin was so heated — where Elizabeth (I know it’s Elisabeth) Hasselbeck even got mad at Barbara while defending Governor Palin to the hilt.
Joy Behar called Governor Palin “stupid” on the Wednesday, October 1, 2008, The View — watch the hot topics show video below — then backpedaled at bit to say Palin was not ready.
Barbara asked Elizabeth Hasselbeck whether or not she would defend Palin every day, Hasselbeck made sure to point out that she was the first one to compliment Barack Obama after his Democratic nomination acceptance speech.
Is Elizabeth Hasselbeck Leaving The View?
That’s what people have been asking a lot lately. And the way Elizabeth came back at Barbara on October 1, 2008 — saying that Elizabeth had been taking a “pop quiz” over Governor Palin’s accomplishments, then stumbled a bit in asking what Obama’s accomplishments were.
Then Elizabeth proceeded to give points to why she supports Palin, and seemed snippier than usual with Barbara — maybe in the way that a teenaged daughter snips at her mother because they’re so close.
Or maybe in the way that a woman leaving The View acts? The scuttlebutt is the Elizabeth may be getting her own show on Fox, because she’s tired of fighting Joy and Whoopi at every turn.
Is this true? Is Elizabeth Hasselbeck leaving The View? Maybe — maybe it’s time. I love her, but if she leaves, I hope they get someone good and fair to replace her.

If Elisabeth leaves, its fine with me. She’s a carbon copy of Shawn Hannity. Those are her people over there, I think that is the most open radical right from fox and friends until 24hrs. later. The one thing I would like for hot topics to do is call Elisabeth out on her treatment of Mrs. Obama. to out her on tv at cindy mccain luncheon about “another presidential wife who shall remain nameless, coming in with a list of topics they could not talk about.” but cindy mccain has nothing to hide. and this was on tv, machelle obama was so nice to all of you I,m gonna keep writing everyone, newspaper, call-in tv etc… until this topic is adressed.

I think Elisabeth is the most annoying person on TV behind Lou Dobbs. I have never heard her saying “you are right” everything regarding McCain or Palin, she is always so defensive. She has to admit that Palin looked dumb in her interviews. Luckily for her, Palin performed relatively well on her debate. But saying that she is prepared to be the VP of USA just because she has raised 5 kids and be a governor of Alaska is ridiculous. Elisabeth should go because she lives in denial. She always wants to impose her way of thinking. That’s to me the fundamental difference between democrats and repulicans. Democrats give people a chance to figure things out, they believe in freedom of choice, they accept differences in race, culture and even sexual preferences. But Republicans believe they are holders of the truth and by being that way they are not that different to extremists or fanatics.
I think she should go. I think Barbara Walters can bring another Republican with a little more brains than Elisabeth

She’s a one sided consevative “my nose is in the air” priviliged Little Rich B**ch, that has no idea what real life is all about. Yes please let her leave or get rid of her, she’s why a lot of people including myself won’t watch the show!

The problem is that people continue to be closed minded. Please look at all the facts Palin as more experience than Obama. Please Please look at the facts. You are being mislead.

I think Elizabeth does a wonderful job of voicing the opinions so many of us have that are rarely expressed in the media. She presents her views appropriatley and supports these opinions. My personal opinion is that I hope she does not go as she is the only conservative voice on the view.
