Spencer’s New Girlfriend ‘South of Nowhere’ Full and Free Lesbian-Themed Episodes Online Have Me Outing Myself and Asking: What Did Jesus say about homosexuality?
“Watch Spencer’s New Girlfriend (from South of Nowhere TV show, full and) free episodes online.“

Those are the kinds of search terms I keep seeing pop up in my stats that led me to just watch one of the full, free “South of Nowhere” episodes online, chiefly the “Spencer’s New Girlfriend” in demand episode.
At first, I was taken aback by a clip of the “Spencer’s New Girlfriend” episode featured prominently on The N, especially once I figured out that Spencer was a girl — especially seeing as though this show is marketed to younger people and is rated TV-PG.
There goes the devil trying to push that stuff on our kids … I mused, then decided to not blog about the controversial show.
I took a break, took a bath, took a little time to listen to God on what to say about the subject.
If this week has taught me anything, it’s that the Lord probably doesn’t like hypocrites preaching the Word of God, wagging their fingers at other “sinners” — yet the whole time possibly living on the “down low” as gay people.
So, if I’m gonna out any Christians who have had homosexual experiences, I might as well start with myself — probably the real reason for my hesitation in writing about the “Spencer’s New Girlfriend” episode.
Tell the truth, God reminded me.
The truth is that in high school, my best friend and I had some lesbian experiences. And I did as well with one female friend a couple of times in college.
Years later, my best friend from high school and I are no longer friends, and I can’t help but think these homosexual experiences hindered that in some way. Like a weirdness between us now.
Thankfully, we’ve both moved on and are believers in Christ and married (to men) and have children. Homosexuality isn’t my struggle (believe you me, the Lord helps me thru other ones), but I’m grateful for Christians like Pastor Donnie McClurkin who’ve been honest about what they’ve endured.
I also love the writings of Julie “Bible Girl” Lyons — a Dallas Observer writer who’s unlike most Christian writers — one who confesses her former girl crushes and takes pastors to task (though I believe Bishop T.D. Jakes is an honest man of God) for being “pulpit pimps.”
What Would Jesus Say About “Spencer’s New Girlfriend” Episode?
That’s the question I’ve been asking myself and researching on the net a good portion of the day. Some use this quote to say that Jesus said homosexuality was okay:
But I lean much more toward the realization that though some people, like a great Christian doctor I know said, have brains that when studied look like that of the opposite sex and must feel trapped in the wrong body — that God’s original design of man with woman is most likely what our Creator intended.
This DOES NOT, however, make it okay for so-called loving Christians to look down our noses at homosexuality and call them sinners whilst gossiping, lying, cheating, stealing or sleeping around in adultery ourselves.
And while there’s something about marriage that makes me believe Jesus intended it to be between a man and woman, this in no way translates to the homophobic hate that killed Matthew Shepherd.
Matthew’s murder was deplorable — as bad as people who judged him harshly.
May God rest his tortured soul…
Other than those issues, I like the writing on the “Spencer’s New Girlfriend” episode of South of Nowhere. And it’s cool that the show talks about modern-day topics like blogging, texting and stuff — words that some spell check programs are yet to recognize.
Watch the show. Let me know what you think.
Can you believe how far — or how low — TV geared toward young people has come?
Confession time — are you a Christian who needs to come clean?
