I find his statements odious, opprobious, and smacks of a person who is out of touch with an issue that is in the forefront of health debate in our society. I have a son with autism and I can assure you he behaves most of the time and when he does "act up" it’s not because he is willfully misbehaving. He does it because he unable to understand abstract concepts like social boundaries. So, in short, my son acts beyond the norms of society because of his autism. When Michael Savage acts beyond the norms of society, as this case illustrates, what is his excuse? I would expect nothing less from this agent of hate. I have a son with autism and I can assure you he behaves most of the time and when he does “act up” it’s not because he is willfully misbehaving.
