SALT-N-PEPA REALITY TV SHOW ONLINE AT VH1: Watch free episodes of the salt-and-pepper rap group peforming on The Tyra Banks Show - truly as opposite and complimentary as the seasonings … And does that make Spinderella the ignored paprika?
My husband showed me the Salt-N-Pepa reality TV show last night, which I thought was the premiere episode.

Turns out the Salt-N-Pepa reality TV show premiered two weeks ago on October 15, 2007, and I’ve been missing all the fun!
This Salt-n-Pepa reality TV show video episode you can watch online shows Salt (Cheryl James, now known as Chery Wray) speaking about how she’s changed and let God into her life, while wild-as-ever-Pepa (Sandra or Sandy Denton) talks about how she hasn’t changed at all.
And here’s another Salt-N-Pepa Show video called “Salt Has Company” showing Salt’s gorgeous home that Pepa moves into temporarily, wreaking havoc…
It was so funny and interesting to see Salt and Pepa back together again, and good to see how much Salt has changed since becoming a Christian.
Sandy was running around, leaving her daughter Egypt with Salt while she got a designer for her new New York apartment. (Salt’s house, with its huge deck and gorgeous vistas wasn’t too shabby, either.)
Salt got mad that Pepa was treating her like a maid. Pepa probably felt Salt was too uptight.
And is Egypt Pepa’s daughter with Treach (Anthony Criss) from Naughty-by-Nature? Yep…
Why did Salt and Pepa break up?
I can totally relate to Salt, who, after becoming a believer in Christ, didn’t want to do all the things she used to do.
I first realized that she was changing when I first saw Salt in Kirk Franklin’s “Stomp” video…
Salt’s life now seems pretty settled — with her gorgeous spacious home and husband and kids — while Pepa seems pretty wild and out there and still in great physical shape.
Pepa played a cee-low dice game with Salt’s husband and friends while Salt was trying to sleep.
Salt’s hubby seemed to be having fun with Pepa and the boys, and Salt was getting angry in last night’s episode. (I would’ve been right down there with them and drinking, maybe…)
Then Pepa had a huge painting of her nude boobs that she turned around to try and hide during Salt’s Bible study — which Salt should’ve invited Pepa to, but Pepa crashed anyway — but the painting showed the boobies out window as the Bible study prayer group ladies arrived.
Pretty good stuff.
What about DJ Spinderella?
During the next episode of the Salt-N-Pepa show, DJ Spinderella (Deidra “Dee Dee” Roper) is going to arrive and talk about how Pepa told her she wasn’t even a member of the group. Spinderella seemingly puts Pepa in her place, telling her the spotlight is not all about her.
Anyway, watching Salt and Pepa together is like watching light wrestling with darkness.
The fans (like me) who listened to Salt-n-Pepa for years and can recite their rhymes by heart love these two — I mean, three! — and are glad they are back together again.
And seeing as though the trio has already performed “Shoop” on The Tyra Banks Show (watch the video online here) or on Tyra’s site under “Frenemies Face Off” video — maybe they will hit the road again. I see that Salt changed that “how does it hang” line and such to reflect her new beliefs…
