Party Unity, My Ass PUMA on Fox News – Accusing Obama of Cheating… Vowing to Vote for McCain…
Party Unity, My Ass – also known as PUMA — was all over Google Trends today. So I hunted down the below video clip of Party Unity, My Ass or PUMA group members being interviewed on Fox News’ Cavuto’s Your World.
At first blush, the Party Unity, My Ass seems like a divergent group of Dems who will either will go so far as to vote for McCain come Election Day, or make their own choice, as the PUMA guy in the video below states.
The PUMA (okay, I gotta write Party Unity, My Ass many times in this post for all you Googlers to find it) group has been mentioned in The Huffington Post — and now Party Unity, My Ass is on Fox News looking a bit shell-shocked, I must say, at least the pretty woman in the below video about PUMA.
Watch Party Unity, My Ass PUMA video from Fox News:
I’m sure people will huff and puff over Party Unity, My Ass PUMA members who say they’ll vote for McCain. At this point, I say, “Let ‘em!”
I was on the fence about Obama, then I voted for him (wow, I almost captalized that H — cue the Twilight Zone theme…) in the Ohio primary. He lost that one.
But the anti-McCain video I saw on Digg.com today with the faulty headline that claimed McCain said the U.S. was “A Christian Nation Only” just made me want to go vote for McCain. Almost.
Anyway.
Who knows if the Party Unity, My Ass people will gain enough steam to convince people to go Republican. It’s a trip that the Party Unity, My Ass interviewees said they wouldn’t even go for an Obama / Clinton ticket, the least of which reason being that Hillary claims to not want to VPship anyway.
The most outlandish charge the Party Unity, My Ass woman made in the video was that Obama cheated.
Whatever. Whomever is meant to have his hand on that Bible come swearing day, will.

Party Unity My Ass. I just saw two Buttheads in the Cavuto interview. They look a little bit crazy, a little on edge.

Instead of PUMA lets call it Cut off Your Nose to Spite Your Faced. PUMA is a place for McBushites to attempt to spilt Dems. So we should vote for McBush because you are upset that Clinton lost. Yes lets vote for a man who will leave more soldiers to die in Iraq and not care for them if they get home because your mad. Yes lets vote for a man who will make paper hats out of Roe v. Wade because your mad. Yes lets vote for a man who believes that Bush economics work and will extend and add more tax cuts for the wealthy because you are mad. Lets vote for more people who will subvert the enviroment and kow-tow to Oil. Hillary Clinton rejected that notion and I would hope that her followers would reject it as well. This election is too important with too many lives and livelihoods at stake to chose based upon PUMA silliness. My thought is that the founder of PUMA never planned to vote for Hillary or Obama. Can we really afford John McBush. John McBush will keep us in Iraq Indefintely. He believes as does Bush that it is a righteous cause. Obama suggests shifting our focus onto Afghanistan where the people that acutally perpetrated 9/11 actually reside. I am not sure what all this experience crap is about. If your wrong like John McBush, it doesn’t matter how long you have been wrong. Being wrong a long time doesn’t equate with desirable experience

Awesome, I will try to find your website now. I’m on on board. I know a few others who may be interested too. John McCain is a Moderate Republican. Lucky for us, it’s not too
much of a stretch for moderate Democrats to vote for him.

The DNP no longer represents my values. To counting all the votes, not just some, assigning the delegates actually won to the candidate who actually received them rather than giving them to the other, and having the leadership to denounce the blatant misogynistic, offensive treatment of a leading political candidate by the media, the “party leaders” (oxymoron), Coward Dean (!) and the Obama camp instead sat in silence, or added their voices to the din.
So, a note to Senator Clinton, with all due respect, I will take my broken heart, my passionate energy and my hopes and put them for her, aside for now, and take what’s left to work towards making sure this country has a real leader in the White House.
The way the “party” has treated her and the voters and the system is an absolute joke, only one without a punch line. Coward (!) Dean and his minions allowed the media, the party leaders, the “Democratic” party (oxymoron) and the Obama camp to shamelessly abuse and denigrate Senator Clinton. How appropriate that the party mascot is a jackass! Like an elephant, my memory is long and my perseverance great.
God bless you Senator Clinton and God help America.

I was an ardent supporter for Hillary and was crushed with the sexism and Obama’s characterization of President Clinton’s administration. I have given a great deal of thought about Obama and I have decided Hillary is a strong Democrat and a party loyalist and would not want us to vote for McSAME or not vote at all.
Though it may take a long time to get over the nasty campaign bitterness, I feel if Hillary can put feelings aside for our party, so can I. A tribute to her would be to do as she has worked hard for and that is preventing a Republican to have another term. I will support Obama for Hillary because the alternative is frightening. I love Hillary and I honor her by staying true to my party. I would rather have Obama then a republican. This is how we can best support Hillary. I am hurt and will remain so, but if Hillary has the courage to do the right thing then I will as well. I will always dislike those Democrats who came out early and endorsed Obama. Those people are the one’s I hold responsible. John Edwards could have stayed neutral. My state Senator Dodd will not get my vote and Kerry is a weak jerk. Claire Mccaskill is a disgrace to ALL woman. I applaud all those who remained loyal to Hillary.

The PUMA’s… are thought as being close to insanity and just angry women. I must say that we are concerned women and men. I am annoyed with the media for not giving fair coverage to Sen. Clinton. I am concern that so much support was given to a man that no one knows anything about. I am very concern that Senator Obama was or still is associated with so many dishonest characters.
I am a Puerto Rican American and proud to be an American. A few weeks ago I had a conversation with my nephew who just turned twenty and voted in the primaries for Senator Obama. He could not give me a reasonable explanation why he was voting for Sen. Obama. The famous words were, he will bring change…Change of what? When I told him that Sen. Obama has shown no respect for our flag by not saluting. He simply told me that this was not important as many persons choose not to salute the flag. I must say that my blood ran cold. This is an insult to the many men and women who have and are still dieing to keep America safe and free. The words in The Pledge of Allegiance and our National Anthem speak for themselves. This is the type of change you will see more of once Sen. Obama becomes President. Younger persons losing American values that we as Americans have worked so hard to preserve.
But when you tell Senator Obama about this he will do just as he did with his flag pin on his lapel; wear it as a way to shut everyone up. Not because he felt proud to be an American. I would have preferred that he did not wear the flag pin at all rather than to be cornered to wearing it just for the media. He shows no backbone. But to disrespect our flag is something I know I could not accept. Once told he will start saluting the flag not because he is patriotic…he just wants to win the election. I am sure just as the flag pin on his lapel he will salute now and then and finally drop it entirely.
AMERICA be aware, this man camouflages who he really is and his true ways will not show until he is seated as President of The United States. Please note he does not share our values as Americans.

This is to Maria. . . I am so sad to see that another person has fallen for the mis-information about Sen. Obama. You base much of your opinion about the senator on the now famous (or infamous) picture of Sen. Obama, Gov. Richardson, and Sen. Clinton on a dais with Clinton and Richardson with their hands over their hearts, but not Sen. Obama. When this picture was shot, they were not saying the Pledge of Allegiance. It was the national anthem. It has never been the custom in this country to place your hand over your heart during the national anthem. Otherwise you’d have to condemn 95% of the Americans attending sporting events around the country. You also point to the flag pin. I agree with Sen. Obama wearing or not wearing a flag pin has nothing to do with how patriotic you are. You can not point to any incident where Sen. Obama has disrespected the flag. If young people today are losing American values, how is Sen. Obama responsible for that? Might that not fall to other leaders, say the Clintons and Bushes who have been in control for the last twenty years? An oh by the way. . . Sen. Clinton doesn’t wear a flag pin either. What’s her excuse? I started out a Hilary backer. She lost me after New Hampshire. I could bring up many grievances about the way Sen. Obama was treated by the Clinton campaign. . . even the candidate herself. But I won’t because there is no point. The stakes in this election are very high. A republican will change the make up and direction of the supreme court for a generation. That alone should convince you to vote for the democrat. I too have questions about Sen. Obama. I have questions about every candidate. No one is pure. . . no one is perfect. I want my daughter to have choices. I don’t want my son to go to war so some old rich white men can stroke their egos and test out some neo-con theory of world dominance. I want someone who won’t use terror and race to try to scare me into voting for someone who otherwise is not right for the country. I want someone who thinks that low and middle income people need some help. McCain voted three times against raising the minimum wage. He wants to make it easier for your employer to back out of providing health insurance. He wants to give 3X as much tax relief to the rich as Sen. Obama’s plan. He is in favor of private accounts for social security. How’s your stock account doing? Is this what you want?

All of you anti-Obama PUMA crackers are nothing but racist female dogs and male pigs. You’re ungrateful ones at that, considering the fact that you female PUMA scum are the biggest beneficiaries of the BLACK Civil Rights Movement. Shame on you ALL, and God curse ALL your houses.

To: big papa, sorry that you have no clue.
You are only voting for him because he is black, as he has no experience to run a country, not Kenya or this one either, therefore that makes you the racist. How are you voting for him? Name his accomplishments…name them?
I am voting for the most experienced person who has been helping and extending her efforts for our country while the other one was learning Muslim traditions.
How about this clueless, it is NOW a women’s movement. Hope you have a wife that is co-dependent and can’t think for herself, as there are 100’s of thousands of us who have been disenfrancised, maybe the wife will learn later what we know now…that not all of us kiss feet and vote as we are told, so hope you know what a TV dinner is and how to heat one up???DAH! Clueless!

Lately I have been listening to conservitive radio trying to figure out what kind of people could still be supporting Bush after watching him degrade our country in every possible way. I can only conclude after hearing them speak they are more a cult than a political party. Anyone who can rationilize the total dissmisive actions of a president concerning the deaths of 3,000 inocent lives, by using them to achive his own goals for greed, cannot be a true patriot. I am finding the same disbeliefe when I was listening to one of your people speak today. I voted for Hilary as well but I cannot let myself become so smallminded that I forget the good of my country and continue to let these Republican criminals run my fellow countrymen into poverty to create their facist state. It makes me sick to think democrates would allow them to steal the whitehouse again. As my mother liked to say “Don’t cut off your nose to spite your face.”I see you as petty people who can’t see the bigger picture. Will it make you that happy to see Obama loose and Mccain and his Republican party reduce us to nothing more than consumers with no integrity or wisdom? Think about all of us not, just your gang mentality .
Thank you ,Tama

Everyone voting for Barack Obama has pointed towards the Republican and saying, “look how they have treated women”. But guess what look how the Democrates have treated her as well. Two wrongs don’t make it right. Party unity was never the agena of the Obama campaign. Look what his VP has done to our party now. Tama wray called Hillary supporters small minded, so what does Mr. Obama VP makes him? I have never missed I vote in my life and I don’t intend to start now but I may be voting for Republican for the first time. I say that because I do not agree with Obama stands on immigration, foreign policy, or more taxes for anyone. And Tama why didn’t Obama just think about his gang. What about the millions of voters who supported Hillary? Had he chosen her as VP that would have shown he believed his statement about leading the party in the right direction and unifying the party.
