»»»»»»»» Obama Blue Day September 30, 2008 – Will You Wear Blue for Barack Obama on Tuesday, Sept. 30th?

Obama Blue Day on September 30, 2008So you probably got the email about wearing blue to show your support Obama on September 30, 2008 — and came here to check out whether or not the Obama blue day on Sept. 30th is real so you won’t feel like an idiot wearing blue from head to toe.

So far I guess the “Obama blue day” may be a real deal thing on Sept. 30th — I don’t see anything claiming it false on Snopes.com, and I see it posted on the Daily Kos.

But I saw another board say it’s something created by PUMA, and that’s where I learned about the “McCain Red Day” on Sept. 30th — those planning to wear red to support McCain that same day.

So are we going to see a sea of red and blue on September 30, 2008?

Maybe baby.

The stupid thing about the Obama blue day email is when it says to talk to McCain supporters and try to sway them to Obama. I mean honestly…

But at least they encourage people to get unregistered people to vote.

When I was listening to the Tom Joyner Morning Show yesterday, Rev. Al Sharpton talked about a woman he saw with tattoos who complained about it talking too long to register to vote. He told her she had the time to get tattoos but not register to vote?

I was thinking to myself: Heck, I don’t know if I want people like that to even register to vote, if it’s not even important to them.

Anyway, I’m probably not wearing blue nor red on Sept. 30th — unless it’s by default. (I love red and blue on me.)

I told my neighbor yesterday that if I put any sign in my yard right now, it would say “undecided.” Writing this site, I’ve been privy to a lot of info about both candidates, so only after time, more research, much prayer, some Lord-help-me-fasting I will darken the circle I’m meant to darken come Election Day.

And just because I’m black, don’t assume I’ll fall in line with Obamabots without knowing the issues. And just because I’m Christian and love the pro-life stance, don’t assume McCain-Palin’s got my vote locked up.
