McCain slipped and said “my fellow prisoners” — when I think McCain meant to say “my fellow Americans” or something.
Probably just a slip of the tongue — like maybe he was just talking about his POW experience or something, and then had “prisoners” on the mind.
Freudian slip, I’m sure people would call it. But I don’t like Freud — he was an atheist, possibly in a situation like that rich guy who begged Lazarus for a cool dip of water on his tongue because he was burning in agony…

People seem to not know what to do after McCain says “my fellow prisoners” — they probably didn’t know whether to correct him, or just let it fly — since he was on a roll.

Fellow Prisoners is a very good video and Mccain is looking very handsome and dashing in this video.

The only thing more confounding about his comment/slip of the tongue is the expressionless faces standing around him when he said it. Robots programmed to clap at anything coming out of his mouth. Today I noticed people clapping as he began to stammer. He never got the sentence out but it was met with thunderous applause
