»»»»»»»» My Boys Full Episodes Online — Watch a Chicago Sun-Times female sportswriter among men (and her black best girl-who’s-a-friend!)
I wondered what the heck the “My Boys” TV show was that people kept searching for, so I TiVo’d it and just watched the new full-length episode of “My Boys” that TBS smartly also has online.
Turns out the second season of TBS’ “My Boys” just began, and it’s the story of a female sportswriter named P.J. Franklin — played by the raspy-voiced Jordana Spiro — who hangs out with “her boys” and talks sports and funny stuff.
Hanging out with all those boys makes for an interesting watch — if not unrealistic that most of them (save for her brother) would want to hook up with P.J. one of those nights swirling beer in the bar or over poker.
But we all know women who are more guy’s gals than girlie girls.
I like the “douchey” term coined by the writers.
I dislike the lie that “friends with benefits are so cool,” or whatever. Trust me, I know consequences…
Overall, “My Boys” is nice with its exterior shots of Chicagoland, my sweet toddlin’ home town. I didn’t exactly set the season pass on TiVo for this one, but I just may come back.
I LOVE the fact that some genius (blowing kisses to you now) cast Kellee Stewart in the role of P.J.’s best female friend.
And I doubly love the fact that the writers don’t have her spitting “sistah girl” lines all about her blackness, but relatable stuff like having to brew her own coffee and other debt-reducing tasks.
I’ll triply LOVE it if Kellee’s character comes back regularly.
So for all these reasons, I may choose that “pick programs to record” option on TiVo to watch the second season of “My Boys” … or better yet, I can watch “My Boys” new season two full episodes online…
