Moose Shootin’ Mama is kinda catchy, and I found myself bouncing my laptop tray around with it — but I don’t know if lyrics like this are gonna engender the brothas and sistahs like me thinking of maybe voting for the McCain-Palin ticket:

One mistake, though, it’s:
“She’ll make a great VP”
Not
“She’ll make a great big P”

I,singer/songwriter, Patti Clark Barnett wrote,”Thunder Rolls” a song about Sarah Palin following the Republican Convention.I also used the phrase,’Moose Shootin’ mother of five’in my September 4th blog post.

Well my appology! It was a late, sleep deprived, innocent mistake in my comment last night. My song phrase was,’Gun totin’mama’-NOT,”Moose shootin’. There is also a lyrical line in my song-’She’ll make moose meat of Osama’. So,I must have unconciously crisscrossed the ideas or concept. As I said, it was late-sorry.

Well, another apology is in order here- primarily to myself, though. Before you jump to call me inordinately confused- to put it nicely:))you may want to read my today’s post. I have been greatly saddened by the illness and loss of my precious cat, Natasha. And I am guessing that may have put on the back burner the realization that I did,in fact, describe Sarah Palin as a,’Moose shootin’ mother of five’I knew how familiar that sounded when I heard Pat Garrett’s song title. So,since it was not in my song,”Thunder Rolls” I assumed I’d been mistaken- but I wasn’t. I blog rather often and post songs a lot. So, I usually just go from one thing to the next. That particular phrase of mine/Pat Garrett’s song title can be found in paragraph 3-September 4th post on my blog/website above. This is no big deal, as it has been octen used now, perhaps. But I just wanted to make the corrections and clarify myself and what I’d written ealier.
