Watching Michelle Obama’s speech last night from Denver at the Democratic National Convention, I said to my husband about Michelle, “She is such an asset to him.”


And I meant it. During Michelle Obama’s speech, I was enthralled with not only her poise and grace and adeptness at getting her point across in an emotional but not weepy way — but Michelle Obama’s hair and dress were also gorgeous. (And no pregnancy announcement by the way, Rush Limbaugh.)

All in all, Michelle Obama did an excellent job. And if her speech was that good — imagine how great Barack Obama’s speech will be Thursday night. The world will be watching!


And when the girls said “Hi, Daddy!” as Barack came on live via satellite after Michelle’s speech was over — that was too precious.
