   Obama will learn about issues and is deeply troubled about
   unwanted babies and drugs. Poverty has increased by 75% in
   that last 7 years in America. Why? Because Washington has
   become a Big Oil and Insurance Club for the rich and famous.
   The White House did nothing for Americans, but has given
   Iraq more money and support than Americans have had since
   W2! What is wrong when Iraq has nearly a $89 Billion Dollars
   in the bank and we are $400 plus Billion in the hole and
   still giving Iraq $10 Billion a month? The Supreme Court,
   with a majoriy of Conservative Republicans on the bench for
   7 years have continued to allow the slaughter of babies
   everyday? There are many issues the vote for President, but
   do we continue to support the rich, who owns 7 homes and
   does not even think you are rich, unless you make $5 million
   a year or do we get a fresh start and stop letting lobbies
   run our country. It’s a shame people think Bush Jr. did a
   great job. Those who want 4 more years of GW Bush, than
   vote for McCain, because you will get it, since he voted
   with Bush 95% of the time on all his economics and favors
   for Big Oil, Medicare Insurance company payoffs, and Billions
   of dollars in the bank for Iraq, with 4500 of our bravest
   never coming home to their families.

   Joe Biden will not get the Catholic vote. He is pro-abortion and a practicing Catholic stands strong for pro-life.
   Also, where did he get his extra hair? Did he have implants or does he where a wig?

   I am a practicing Catholic and I will not vote for a pro-choice candidate. Abortion is not birth control. Abortion takes a human life, pure and simple. There is no way around that fact. If someone decides to make the lifestyle choices that result in an unplanned, unwanted pregnancy, I would have a lot more respect for the woman or couple that carries that pregnancy to term and gives that child to one of thousands and thousands of loving, childless couples that want one desperately. I wish I had had that courage 30 years ago. I have done what I need to do according to my faith to reconcile that, but I live with and regret that decision every day of my life.

   Diane, God bless you! You are one of the many victims of the abortion industry. Yes…women are victims, too! The abortion industry is a for profit business period! I’ve not had an abortion, but have held and comforted friends who still suffer and cry over their past abortions. And where are the people who voted in this “right” when the women are left grieving for years after?? Running for president and vice president!! God help this country if they get into office. Joe Biden is no Catholic!

   Just because you can say you are Catholic~Joe Biden does not mean you act like one. Being Catholic is not a buffet where you can pick and choose what you will believe and what will make you popular with the crowd to get you elected. Too many ‘Catholics’ in politics today are Catholics in title/label only. Why the Catholic church has not excommunitcated many of you is beyond me. But your day will come when you meet your maker and he asks you about how you lived your life…just as fake as your hair is so is your Catholic faith. Carrying a Rosary in your pocket does not make you a Catholic…neither does having hair plugs put in make you a Fabio. There is NO WAY you and Nobama will get my CATHOLIC vote…my prayers are for your conversion. May God’s light penetrate through your dark soul to bring you back to the true teachings of the Catholic Faith. God have mercy on Polosi, Kennedy Clan, Biden…etc!

   Some politicians use religion to promote their political career. He is no different. If he was truly a Catholic, he would abide by the teachings and followings of the Church/Vatican. Good luck Joe. You don’t have my endorsement and are in good company with Mr. Obama who has all the style, but no substance. I guess Mr. Obama and Joe share the same belief that if one of their children got pregnant, they should not have to be punished for their mistake. Excuse me while I puke. I am going to pray hard that people make the right choice come November.

    Joe has my vote, and I am a Catholic. I am not a single issue voter, and am appalled by the social, economic, and international policies advocated by the Republicans. I also don’t take orders from the bishops on who I have to vote for.

    Yup Robert, spoken like a true “cafeteria Catholic.” I’ll take some of this, nope don’t like that, oh yeah double helping of that. Why is it that the catholic Church is the only organization whose members think that they get to define the organizations beliefs? If you don’t want to be Catholic then don’t. It’s like joining a football team but deciding that you want five downs instead of four and you get a do over if you want.

    Call me a cafeteria catholic or whatever you like but I am not a mindless drone. I cast my vote for George Bush last time around because I let people like you on this Board bully me. I didn’t save any babies from abortion but I participated in the killing of millions of innocent Iraqi civilians and 4000 plus U.S. soldiers. I saw the decline of the U.S. and it’s constitutional freedoms.

    This time I learned my lesson, I hope Jesus judges you folks more kindly than you judge me or Robert. I am voting my conscience this time for Obama-Biden. I love the freedom God himself gave me and I’m not going to let any of you or the Church take it from me.

    i grew up with a grandmother who was a member of the Catholic Worker movement. She was profoundly interested and involved with social issues. Today’s Catholics seem to be one trick ponies—only concerned with this one issue. I was never confronted with the dilemna of an unwanted or unexpected pregnancy. I have known several woman who have had abortions,and some have had emotional repercussions—some have not. I do not have any problem with being personally not for abortion but politically being pro individual right to choose.Many practicing Catholic politicians have taken this position and I think it is perfectly fine.Any other position smacks of an almost Islamist stance of rigidity.
    Conservatives in today’s political climate advocate for these babies to be born, yet want to deny health care and education to them once they are here—-

    They also are very willing to send them off to an awful war and give up their lives at a very young age for idiotic ideology.

    I am a single issue voter, follow my faith and will ALWAYS vote for LIFE. How many children were killed due to abortions that could have TRULY made a difference in our world today. This is something we will never know because the selfish people killed them before they had a chance to change the world. They may have been the one to change this world’s social, economic and international policies…sad to say that life was taken by the hands of an abortionist. It’s even scarier to think Obama believes/supports partial birth abortion and infantcide…if he will kill these innocent lives, what makes you think you are not next with his Socialist beliefs and his terrorist connections. He is a wolf in sheeps clothing…BEWARE all you kool-aid drinkers and Obama lunatics.
