I just heard about these Jitterbug cell phones for older people — I think on Jay Leno.


Of course he was joking about the elderly not needing any more distractions while they’re driving, but I’m seriously thinking about buying one of these Jitterbug cell phones for my dad, who is 87 years young. (Check here on Amazon for all kinds of phones — I don’t see the Jitterbug phones there yet, but they are at the above linked-to site, but you can find phones for the hearing impaired at Amazon that work well.)


I’ve gotten him two phones thus far, ones that help him with his hard-of-hearingness.


Now I think I want to get him a Jitterbug cell phone so that I can text him, and he can text me.
