White Male Student Graduates as Valedictorian of Morehouse College…

Watch the below of Joshua Packwood, the first white valedictorian to graduate from Morehouse – mostly a black college for African-American males.

When I saw it on the news last night, I was pleased to see Morehouse featured so prominently, and learn that it graduates the most black males of colleges in the country.

And though Packwood has gotten only a little heat from those who say that his presence at Morehouse takes a spot away from a black man, I’m glad to see that Josh actually wanted to get closer to blacks and learn more about what it’s like to be a minority.
