I saw “dead girl 5 left last message for family” and thought that was a strange search term, until I realized they were searching for info about 5-year-old Maria Chapman — ’cause I haven’t yet watched the videos of Steven Curtis Chapman on Larry King Live last night:

My eyes brimmed with moisture as I watched Steven Curtis Chapman talk about wanting a sign from God after Maria died that she was okay — they just wanted to “see” something.


Then Maria’s family found that the 5-year-old had written “see” — a word they say she’d never written before — and drew a flower with 6 petals (representing their 6 family members) with one petal filled in, full in Christ Jesus.
