Okay, Chris Rock is pretty funny and on fire in the below David Letterman video from Monday, September 22, 2008. I’m sure Chris Rock went on David Letterman to promote his coming HBO “Kill the Messenger” comedy special — which I’ve already set up my DVR to record.
Chris is gonna show footage from him taping in Africa and other locations across the globe. But the David Letterman “Bill needs to accept Hillary lost…and didn’t want to say Barack Obama’s name” routine was pretty good.
Rock was hyped up on Obama, you could tell. And the whole “it’s okay to shoot a moose and not a dog” argument is one of those things that makes you go, “Hm….” But we just love dogs in this country.

Who does not know that fighting dogs is *HELLO* illegal in this country? Chris Rock did not just fall off a boat from another country so knows the difference. Anyone, including David Letterman, who finds his comparison to HUNTING (aka legal activity) to DOG FIGHTING funny or even worth airtime is just plain ignorant. Heaven help the United States of America if making light of illegal activity is funny.
The Obama camp should be ashamed that such celebs support them. Rock cracks jokes that glorify a man who got caught and serving time for their crime while degrading Palin who was participating in something totally legal, hunting. Are Americans really this stupid? God help us.

Deep breath Darlene….. steady does it. It’s all going to be ok. Chris Rock is a comedian. He’s says things that he thinks are funny and hopes people laugh. He was trying to make a joke. Regardless of whether you think it was funny or not….. it’s ok. Seriously, everything is going to be alright.

Chris Rock is an idiot!
How can you compare Sarah Palin’s hunting with Michael Vick’s horrendous crimes.
Michael Vick not only put his dogs into fight til death matches but tortured to death (by hanging and electrocution etc.) the poor dogs that lost the fights. He’s a horrible person that deserved harsh punishment for his horrible acts of sadistic cruelty.
Last that I heard, hunting doesn’t include torturing the animal as retribution before killing it.
Even if his comments were supposed to be a joke, what a awful thing to joke about.

And once again, ignoring the issue at hand. People getting all up in arms because a comedian cracked a joke about Precious Palin. Whether or not it was funny is another story. Personally, I laughed at Chris’s joke. I find him hysterical and very often his commentaries are spot-on.
What I find appalling though, is Palin herself. That is one heck of a bad joke, but nope, let’s blast Chris Rock instead, because he’s a threat, right? He is just soooo influential, right?
Personally, I find Palin to be WAY more threatening than Chris Rock, but hey, that’s just me.
And Grady, no, you’re not the only one.

What has this country come to, when dogfighting is compared to HUNTING? What meat does Chris Rock eat? Dog?
On the one hand, we have Palin: anti-abortion, hunter, large family, working mother.
On the other, we have ANY NUMBER OF CELEBS: promiscuous, meat-eaters, foul-mouthed abortion fans, greedy #%^*!, unfit parents, WHO DARE to inflict their views UPON us! Talk about biting the hand that feeds you!

If you’re going to shoot a Moose to eat it, then shoot it and EAT it. Don’t pose with its carcass, don’t throw the head on your wall. Do you take pictures with the cow that manufactured your hamburger?
CR is saying that because somebody black is fighting dogs it’s a crime, but when white folk want to kill moose and deer and say it’s “sport” it’s OK. But hey, I guess maybe some of you would rather be shot in the head than tortured. You might want to ask McCain which one he would choose. If you don’t like killing dogs, you shouldn’t like killing moose or deer either. It’s both killing. Why is one legal and the other not… that’s the question he’s posing.
