Update: CNN reports that though Anchorwoman has been canceled after only one episode, Fox said this past Thursday that they will stream all the unaired full episodes of Anchorwoman online here at Fox on Demand.

(I see a couple of 8/22/07 clips out there as of this writing, but when I click on them, nothing plays yet. Hopefully Fox will fix this ASAP.)

Unfortunately, Anchorwoman with Lauren Jones isn’t one of the full streaming episodes that Fox has online.

But the bubbly and positive blonde’s personality has already won me over since I just watched the first episode on TV of Lauren Jones’ new Anchorwoman reality show, in which the model-turned-newscaster lands a gig with CBS’ KYTX in Tyler, Texas.

Fox did put up a video snippet of the first time Anchorwoman Lauren Jones read the teleprompter, which I hear is a difficult thing.

Plus they have video sneak previews of Lauren Jones on Anchorwoman mangling some names.

And then there’s video of the angry reaction to Lauren Jones becoming a new anchorwoman from some local news directors who are probably just mad they didn’t think of the whole Anchorwoman ploy before KYTX-TV got the high-heeled, mini-skirted, childlike, ever-enthusiastic former WWE bikini’d diva.

But I’m rooting for ol’ Lauren, especially in the face of jealously-portrayed coworkers like Annalisa Petralia, who keeps talking about the “serious journalist” she is while the Fox editors slyly inter-cut scenes with her saying something frivolous like “boys with cooties” — then cut to the station’s weather dog.Yet and still, I can imagine Lauren’s appearance was pretty distressing for some of KYTX-TV’s cast, whom Rich Heldenfels noticed does not include of pic of Lauren Jones on their news team web page.

Mere oversight?

Or is Lauren Jones no longer an Anchorwoman?

I’ll find out soon. I like this show so much, I got a Season Pass of it on my Tivo…
