I suspect the first thing people will be searching for Wednesday, November 4, 2008, will be exit polls. I used CNN’s exit polls a lot in the last election and no doubt lots of other people will.

What will the 2008 exit polls tell us?

A whole lot. The 2004 exit polls told me that twice the amount of blacks voted for George W. Bush in 2004 than did in 2000. (I was one of them.)


But now, those same exit polls in 2008 will tell a much different story.


And we know people will be Googling “2008 Ohio exit polls by race” and “California 2008 exit polls Obama” and “Wyoming 2008 exit polls McCain” galore.
